Who is Eligible?

Cruising Rally Association sailing events are open to seaworthy yachts of any type or nationality. For vessels starting with the fleet in Hampton VA, the lower size limit shall be 37 feet LOA. Smaller vessels will be considered based on their speed and the experience of the crew.

All boats must pass inspection and must be sailed by two or more sailors, with final determinations made by the Event Committee.

There must be at least one experienced offshore sailor on board. We will be happy to assist you in selecting one or more crew members from our volunteer crew registry. In some cases, the owner may elect to hire a professional captain. If you don't have the experience, take it with you!
